Updates

• Edcamp 2022 has been canceled by the superintendents.

Gathering of Great Minds Survey

• 70% of the survey results were neutral or better (3-5)
• It was tough to have one person coordinate, possible team approach in the future
• Cloquet did prefer not having to travel and the half day
• Need more licensure requirements, and having someone review these ahead of time would be beneficial

Future of GGM? 

• We have a lot of talent in our buildings to share
• We do have a list of external resources that can be utilized in the future
• We want to focus on the licensure requirements
• Possible of combo of Inservice/Edcamp
• Discussion on half day vs whole day
• Proposed having a elementary morning, high school afternoon, but all teachers are able to attend all day if continuing education options are needed. This would maximize the Continuing Education offerings while allowing our talented staff members to be available to be presenters.

March 17th, 2022 at 3:30 to review feedback from the Superintendent.
